【創作理念】 臺灣廟宇的剪黏裝飾展現了屬於熱帶的奔放色彩。透過投影燈光，「染色彩」讓台灣傳統中對於色彩的禮讚，重現在高雄車站令人印象深刻的特殊天花設計上。 我們選擇車站廣場地面層，較不影響車站運作的位置，以投影機及特製燈光打造充滿色彩的廟埕天空，每小時會有一次色彩和光線效果的交互展演，投影的效果配合高雄車站令人印象深刻的特殊天花設計上，如同煙火、廟宇彩繪、廟埕活動的多彩多姿，打造高雄車站具有紀念性、儀式性、記憶點的片段，開放性的介面，也為未來留下各種展演可能。   「染色彩」投影在市民廣場上，此處避開了進車站最繁忙的動線，這些美麗的色彩將以投影與投射燈等方式呈現，每小時演出五分鐘。

【Artist’s Description】 The cut-and-paste decorations of Taiwanese temples showcase the vibrant colors of the tropics. Through projected lighting, " Competition of color " brings the celebration of color in Taiwan’s traditions back to life on the impressive ceiling design of Kaohsiung Station.   We have chosen a location on the ground floor of the station plaza that minimally impacts station operations. Here, projectors and custom lighting create a colorful temple sky, with an interplay of colors and light effects displayed once every hour. The projected effects align with Kaohsiung Station’s striking ceiling design, evoking the vibrancy of fireworks, temple murals, and temple square festivities. This transforms Kaohsiung Station into a space filled with memorable and ceremonial moments, offering an open interface for various future performances and exhibitions.   " Competition of color " is projected onto the City Plaza, strategically located away from the station’s busiest traffic flow. These beautiful colors will be displayed through projection and lighting, with a five-minute performance every hour.
